I'm sure there are many other topics like this, but I just don't have the time to sift through the community... however I'm having trouble deciding whether or not I should upgrade to a Nikon D90 or a D300. I've been using my D40 for close to 2 years now and now that I have a new job and more money, I decided to get a better camera. I just wanted to know from anyone who's ever used or knows anything about the two models about their personal opinions, experiences, etc.
Just to give a little background, I mostly do events (such as dance shows and concerts), portrait, landscape and urban photography, but I also experiment a lot with interesting concepts like light graffiti. I am also highly aware that there are NUMEROUS topics about this issue littered across the internet, and that if you provide links to webpages, chances are I've already read it. I've been debating about this for weeks now, and really need some constructive advice to help seal the deal.
